Monica Pagels has over 15 years of experience in the fitness industry. She graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a Masters of Science in Exercise Physiology while working at Eastern as a graduate assistant, and is also a certified Personal Trainer. She began her career in the clinical setting of cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation at Henry Ford and Cottage Hospitals. In 1998, Monica began working in a wellness and disease prevention environment by creating specific post-rehabilitation exercise programs at Botsford Center for Health Improvement in Novi. She assisted clients from the young to elderly in all levels of health and fitness to improve their quality of life through meaningful, functional fitness programs designed specifically for their needs. After 12 years at Botsford, Monica has chosen a career path that will help her focus on each of her passions which include competing in marathons and triathlons, and caring for her 2 children! “By working with individuals in their own homes I can create a perfect work-life balance that I want to model for my clients”. Monica thrives on goal setting and motivation to inspire her clients to make fitness a regular and dedicated part of their lives!
